정부대전청사 발레공연(2011.6.15)

 

국립발레단의 대전나들이는 참 오랜만인 것 같다. 공연 하루 전 딸아이한테서 대전에서 공연이 있다는 전화를 받고, 아이엄마는 깜짝 놀란 표정이다. 그도 그럴 것이 바로 집앞에 있는 정부대전청사에서 공연이 있다는 것이 믿기지 않는 모양이다.   

작년12월 서울에서 성황리에 막을 내렸던 백조의 호수 하이라이트 부분을 갈라식으로 공연한단다. 어떤 역을 맡았는지 물어보았지만 신통치 않게 대답한다. 겨우 나온 대답이래야  "여러가지.....!!!" 공연시간도 4시공연을 4시 반으로 잘못 알려줘 부랴부랴 찾아갔건만 이미 1/3은 지난 상황이었다.  

청사내 극장 맨 뒷편에 서서 무대 위에 낯 익은 얼굴을 바쁘게 찾았지만 비슷한 체형에 일사불란하게 움직이는 군무 사이에서는 딸애를 찾기는 어려웠다. 5분쯤 지났을까 갑자기 4마리 백조가 나타나 엄청나게 빠른 발동작으로 정신을 뺀다. 딸아이는 그 중에 있었다.  혹시나 하여 카메라를 가지고는 갔지만 공연장에서 허락없이 셔터를 누르는 것이 금지되어 있어 가방 속에서 선뜻 꺼내지 못했다. 2막 해설이 끝나고 각 나라의 공주들이 펼치는 독무가 이어진다. 느낌이 이상하다. 딸아이는 엄마아빠를 놀라게 할 때마다 말을 아낀다. 뭔가 숨기는게 있는 것 같다. 용기를 내어 카메라를 꺼냈다. 물론 공연에 방해가 되지 않도록  공연장 맨 뒤 가장 깊숙하고 어두운 구석에서 몇십컷만 도둑촬영을 했다. 딸아이의 깜짝 등장을 기대하며.

이 발레리나가 누구지?  아내는 갑자기 구석으로 다가와 의아한 표정을 짓는다.  

 

 

 

곧이어 발레리나는 공중으로 방방 뛰기 시작한다. 쥬테라면 세상에서 둘째 가라면 서러워할 아이. 분명 우리딸이다.

의미있는 솔로 공연을 마치고...위풍당당한 모습으로 이렇게 말하는 것 같다. "엄마,아빠! 저 어땠어요?"

조금 일찍 분장을 지우고 나온 딸아이와 한컷.  상봉의 순간도 잠시 뿐이다.

 

 

공연이 끝난 후 짐을 챙겨 이동하는 모습.  국내 최고의 무용수임에도 이들은 항상 겸손하고 인사성 바르며 매사에 훌륭하다.

모두가 친딸같고 아들같은 소중한 존재다.

 

 

 

 

세상에 아름다운 꽃은 많으나 영원히 기억될 수 있는 꽃은 없다.

정작 중요한 것은 피어있는 동안 향기롭고 아름다워야 한다는 사실 뿐이다. 

 

쌓아 올라가야 높은 탑이 되듯이

꿈을 갖고 살아야 할 生이다.
